Walt Disney Family Museum Damaged in Storm

The San Francisco Bay Area was pelted by heavy rainfall and high winds last week as an atmospheric river touched down in Northern California last week. The storm was intense enough to damage the Diane Disney Miller Exhibition Hall at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco’s Presidio.

The auxiliary exhibition hall is used for rotating special shows, usually featured around a specific film or event, and currently hosts Walt Disney’s The Jungle Book: Making a Masterpiece curated by master animator and official Disney Legend Andreas Deja.

Repairs on the building will keep the Jungle Book exhibition closed until February 2nd. The exhibition will remain open through March 5, 2023.

The main museum seems to be undamaged though the Bay Area is bracing for a second, more intense, storm tomorrow.
