The Rocket Belt Saga Part 1 — Twenty-One Seconds: The Lowdown on the Plus-Up Episode 18
Kelly and Pete take on the wildest story in the Tomorrowland skies.
In 1965 a man clad all in white with a jet engine strapped to his back launched from Tomorrowland at Walt Disney’s famous theme park and flew through the air, astonishing (and deafening) the Disneyland guests present.
Who was this man?
Was the Rocket Pack a trick, or did they just watch a man fly?
What are the origins of the idea of the personal flying device?
Why does it stir our imaginations so and how far would someone be willing to go to own one?
Who is… The Creeper?!
