Doctor Who Gets a New Best Friend
The Doctor’s newest companion is announced on the BBC.
Introduced during the November 18, 2022 Children in Need special on the BBC was new Doctor Who companion, Millie Gibson. An award-winning star of the British soap opera Coronation Street, she will join Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor as “Ruby Sunday” for the show’s sixtieth anniversary season in late 2023, to be aired outside of Britain on Disney+.

It is a gift of a role, and a dream come true, and I will do everything to try and fill the boots the fellow companions have travelled in before me.
