D23: The Main Street Opera House Re-Opens with Walt Animatronic
Long rumored animatronic of company’s founder is confirmed.
Disneyland’s Main Street Opera House has been closed for some time and now, Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, has confirmed that will re-open with two shows: one, the classic Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln performance and the other, a new show called Walt Disney — A Magical Life featuring an animatronic Walt Disney reminiscing from his old studio office.
The announcement featured an appearance by Walt’s great-nephew Roy P. Disney and a performance of Walt’s favorite song, Feed the Birds by Meghan Trainor.
