D23: Monstropolis Coming to Disney Hollywood Studios
A new land will be coming to the Studios.
Josh D’Amaro, Chariman of Disney Parks and Experiences, announced a brand new land for Disney Hollywood Studios based on the Monsters, Inc franchise.
D’Amaro and special guest, Disney Legend Billy Crystal, announced the new themed area and its new major attraction, a suspended coaster thrill ride through the movie’s factory of doors.
Work will begin next year on the new land. No announcement has been made on where it will be placed in the park and what might be replaced by it.
