Brand New American Born Chinese Featurette Shared At D23
Filled with a star-studded cast!
On Saturday, Disney unveiled a sizzle reel for the new Disney+ series American Born Chinese during the Epic Entertainment Showcase at the D23 Expo. A cross between an urban school drama and Chinese mythology, the preview featured action and fantasy sequences intercut with interviews of Michelle Yeoh and young lead Ben Wang.
Ke Huy Quan was also cast in the series, making this the second casting announcement for him of the day. He’s also playing a TVA employee in LOKI season two.
